Meet Cole

I am a Certified Advanced Alcohol & Drug Counselor (CAADC) located in Athens, Georgia and have been helping people recover from addiction for nearly a decade. Like many clinicians in this field, I came into this practice via my own experiences as an individual in long-term recovery.

Familiar with the dread, fear, and embarrassment that usually accompanies a late-stage addiction, I strive to create an environment for my clients that makes it a little easier to confront the problem and initiate the change. This means a focus on maintaining a shame-free atmosphere without judgment.

Struggling with substance misuse does not indicate a failure of morals or character, but rather the existence of chronic unresolved suffering. My clients and I work together to identify and heal sources of suffering and develop knowledge and skills for relapse prevention and growth.
